Editing Existing Discussion Forums

Editing Discussion Forums From Your Course Menubar: 

  1. Click the 'Discussions' option on your course menu bar.
  2. Click the 'Forum Name' link for the forum you would like to edit.
  3. From your Administration block (typically docked on the left), select Forum administration> Edit settings.
  4. Make the necessary edits to your discussion forum text and/or settings.
  5. Click 'Save and display' or 'Save and return to course' to save your changes.

 Editing Discussion Forums From Your Course Homepage:

  1. From your course homepage, click the desired discussion forum topic.
  2. From your Administration block (typically docked on the left), select Forum administration>Edit settings.
  3. Make the necessary edits to your discussion forum text and/or settings.
  4. Click 'Save and display' or 'Save and return to course' to save your changes.
