Respondus LockDown Browser for Instructors
Respondus LockDown Browser™ is a customized browser that increases the security of test delivery. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser™ to access a quiz or exam, they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications.
If a quiz or exam requires that Respondus LockDown Browser™ be used, students will not be able to take that quiz/exam with a standard web browser.
Respondus LockDown Browser™ can only be used for taking quizzes. It cannot be used in other areas of the course (i.e. assignments). When using Respondus LockDown Browser™, students will only be able to take ONE quiz or exam during each session. To take multiple quizzes/exams, students simply need to close Respondus LockDown Browser™ and re-launch the application between each quiz/exam.
