Enabling Browser Cookies on an iPad or iPhone
Enable Browser Cookies for Safari

When using an iOS device (i.e., iPad or iPhone), you will need to be sure to first be sure browser cookies are enabled in the Safari browser application.
- From your home screen, locate and select the 'Settings' icon.
- Select ‘Safari' from the left-side menu bar (you may need to scroll down and select 'Apps' first).
- Scroll down and select 'Advanced.'
- On the 'Privacy' pane (on the right), ensure that 'Block All Cookies' is NOT enabled. If enabled, this setting will need to be unchecked to prevent any issues with site access.
- In addition to ensuring cookies are enabled, please ensure that 'Prevent cross-site tracking' is NOT checked/enabled. Return to Safari > Settings > Privacy & Security to check this setting.
Enable Browser Cookies for Chrome
If you are using the Chrome browser, you will need to complete the above steps to enable cookies for Safari, in addition to ensuring that the 'Allow Cross-Website Tracking' option is enabled for Chrome:
- From your home screen, locate and select the 'Settings' icon.
- Select ‘Chrome' from the left-side menu bar (you may need to scroll down).
- Ensure that 'Allow Cross-Website Tracking' is enabled.
Enable Browser Cookies for Firefox
If you are using the Firefox browser, you will need to complete the above steps to enable cookies for Safari, in addition to ensuring that the 'Allow Cross-Website Tracking' option is enabled for Firefox:
- From your home screen, locate and select the 'Settings' icon.
- Select ‘Firefox' from the left-side menu bar (you may need to scroll down).
- Ensure that 'Allow Cross-Website Tracking' is enabled.
Enable JavaScript for Safari
Once you have enabled your browser cookies, please clear your cache and restart your browser before reattempting to access your course. If you are accessing your course through your school's LMS and are still seeing a login screen after enabling your browser cookies, you may also need to ensure JavaScript is enabled on your iPad using the steps below:
- Access the 'Settings' option on your iPad (you will need to be sure to adjust your settings here, and not inside of the Safari app).
- Locate the option for 'Safari' and tap to select it.
- Locate the 'Advanced' option and tap to select it.
- Adjust your settings to enable JavaScript.
