Errors During the Registration Process
When registering your Access Code, you may encounter the following error messages:
- "This Access Code is already in use."
Please be sure you have purchased a new (not used) code from the campus bookstore or from the Connect for Education online store. If the code is new and you received this error, your registration may have been accepted. Please check your email for your account credentials and try logging into your course with the account you created. - "Access Code must be 14 characters long" OR "The registration code is invalid for this course."
Please be sure the Access Code you are trying to register is for the specific course you are taking. The registration page will only accept codes intended for that specific course. Also, ensure you are entering the correct characters. Note that your code may contain the letter “O” and/or the number "0".
Additionally, if you have purchased a RedShelf/Brytewave/VitalSource code from your campus bookstore, which is longer than 14 characters, you will need to complete the redemption process appropriate for your school. For more information, please see our following FAQs:
-Redeeming a RedShelf or Brytewave code
-Redeeming a VitalSource Code - "The registration period for this course has ended" OR "The registration period for this course has not started yet."
This indicates that the registration has not yet begun, or has already closed.
